‍

These are so delicious! And if you follow my stories on instagram, you might see this is the breakfast I have every morning! Why? Because nutrient dense carbohydrates are a satisfying way to send low stress signals to our brain first thing in the morning - it supports thyroid function and healthy hormone levels, especially for women!
‍

Here's the recipe:

40 grams of Pamela's Gluten Free Pancake and Baking Mix

15 grams of ground flaxseed

around 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup filtered water

1 egg

‍

The flaxseed absorbs the water and replaces the oil the original recipe on the back of the bag's recipe uses.

‍

I will usually eat half of waffle and save the second half for the following day and retoast it.

‍

Here's the nutrition info for one whole waffle:

Calories: 311

Fat: 19 g

Carbohydrates: 27 g

Protein: 13 g

Fiber: 10 g

‍
Enjoy!
