If you want an anti-inflammatory delicious treat, here you go!

One problem with "healthy" or "clean" recipes is the amount of CALORIES they can have in them by using clean ingredients.

Did you know 2 cups of almond flour, for example, has about 1400 calories?

That's not to say we should never use it, but it is important to understand calories and ingredients, even among "healthy" foods.

I love eating sweets, sweets that help me feel good. Over the past few years, I've scoured the internet for recipes that help do this. So I hope this series is helpful to you, as well!

Here's the recipe:

Sweet potato gluten free brownies

2 baked sweet potatoes (without skin)

2 dates

1/4 cup cacao

95 grams almond butter (about 1 cup)

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp baking soda

Soak dates for 5 minutes or so in about a 1/2 cup of hot water. Then blend with an immersion blender or in a blender.

Mix with all other ingredients.

Bake in a brownie pan at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes, or until a knife can go into the center and come out clean.

Enjoy and enjoy those healing powers of sweet potatoes and dates!
