Your heart is magnetic and can impact others.

The heart has its own magnetic field. And this field is involved in energetic communications.

If you think that sounds too off the beaten path, think about it.

When you go to the doctor to get an electrocardiogram (EKG), it measures the electrical aspect of your heart. It is scientific that we are electrical beings, we just don’t think about it too much.

The sign of death on an EKG is a flat line - or no electrical current or rhythm. Being electric is a sign of life.

The heart is the most powerful source of electromagnetic energy in the human body, producing the largest rhythmic electromagnetic field of any of the body’s organs (all organs emit electricity).

The heart’s magnetic field is 100 times greater than the field created by the brain and can be detected up to 3 feet away from the body, in all directions.

Research done at the Heartmath institute has proven that our emotional states impact the heart’s magnetic field. In turn, this proves that our emotions and internal state impact those around us. Here’s how.

There is a direct relationship between the heart-rhythm pattern and the information in the frequency in the magnetic field emitted by the heart. Meaning, information about a person’s emotional state is encoded in the heart’s magnetic field. It is then sent out, or communicated invisibly throughout the body and the area surrounding the person.

Our body is constantly detecting its external environment and making adjustments based on this sensory information. Such as touch, temperature, ranges of light, sound waves, etc.

The nose for example can sense one molecule of gas. A cell in the retina of the eye can detect a single photon of light. If our ears were more sensitive than they are, it would pick up on the sound of the vibrations of our own molecules.

When we look at communication between two people, we might think about body language, tone, or the words spoken. However, we now have evidence that the electromagnetic or energetic communication system of individuals communicates just below our conscious level of awareness.

The nervous system acts as an antenna, which is tuned to and responds to the magnetic fields produced by the hearts of other individuals.  There are many examples in other areas of vibrations and rhythms where we become like what we surround ourselves with. (Here is a video showing spontaneous synchronization.)

More surprisingly, rather than impacting someone else’s magnetic field, the heart’s magnetic field has the power to impact the brains of those around them.

Monitoring brain waves is done with an EEG. It was shown that the heart rhythm, or magnetic field of the heart, was able to impact the EEG of individuals around the subject.

How does this relate to health? Well for one you can positively or negatively impact the rhythm and health of those around you. Individuals who are more resilient, or more coherent and at peace, have less sensitivity to being brought down or altered by those around them who might have an unstable heart rate rhythm. Rather, they are more likely to positively impact those around them.

However, our body is constantly receiving information as well. Even if we are stable, we are impacted by those around us.

Every cell in our body is impacted by fluctuating invisible magnetic forces. And if we want to age well and to prevent disease, it is imperative to acknowledge and to support this aspect of health.

Our heart is magnetic. Our body is electric. And you can improve your health and those around you in ways we can’t see with our eyes.
